ABOUT TYLER BABEY: A multi-media artist with works ranging from pencil to digital and styles from classical to illustrative and somewhere in between. Tyler graduated from RVCC and continued to earn his BFA from Montclair State University. He is the illustrator for Jeffrey Calli’s children’s book “There are No Shortcuts” which is currently in the process of getting published and should be released in the near future.
Tyler, 26, a Hillsborough High School Graduate, showed his love of art at early age engaging his after school teachers with pencil drawings of Godzilla and other characters from a unique perspective. His passion for all things anime provided a repository of characters that would shape his future style. His art is recognized within his local gaming community and in various online communities. He has been commissioned for his work. While pursuing his interest and art education Tyler maintained steady work throughout his college years at the local HomeGoods.
Tyler will be presenting his original pieces that were previously shown at Montclair State University Bachelor of Fine Arts Reception as well as his digital, anime, and gaming inspired work along with several of his pencil works.
His art will be available for sale along with ready to frame prints. To view a sample of Tyler’s work, visit his Facebook page, Tyler Babey Art, and befitanywhere.com for details on the event.
