WOMAN’S FITNESS

I can’t stress enough to my clients the importance of fitness and learning how to incorporate it into your lifestyle.  Females are very complex when it comes to exercise.  Our testosterone levels are much lower than men so “packing on the muscle” does not happen as easily as men.  Women have an easier capacity to readily store body fat.  Lucky us!  The monthly hormonal fluctuations wreak havoc on our fluid retention, mood swings and cravings.  And last, but not least, we are self-conscious about our bodies.

Programs need to be tailored to you as a woman and should be designed to work with you and not against you.  Your program should be flexible enough to adapt to how you are feeling without sacrificing the overall goal.  Some of these goals include weight loss, body toning, increase in bone density, and increase in strength and flexibility.  We can watch your body change and grow stronger as you can do a few more push-ups and have triceps with less wiggle.

It is never too late to start, no matter what your goals are!  Don’t want to start alone?  Grab a friend or two for partner or group sessions.

  Our goal is common…

“We all aim to be fit, strong, and

lean the best as we can be!”

                                          ...for both men and women.
